P. Rex is made from hundreds of discarded plastic bottles used for windshield fluid, cut into pieces and attached together to form the various body parts. The bottles were collected at a local PetroCan station over one winter. Each time there is a snowfall, dozens of these bottles are thrown out. No attempt at recycling is made. The bottles go straight into the garbage. P. Rex symbolizes the incredible waste and pollution caused by single-use plastic.
